Description
The Roller Team Zefiro 696 is a spacious low-profile motorhome designed to provide comfortable travel for families and couples who want additional living space on the road. Its well-balanced layout separates the sleeping and living areas, creating a practical interior suited to longer journeys across the UK and Europe.
At the rear of the vehicle, a fixed island double bed forms a dedicated bedroom area. This layout allows easy access from both sides of the bed while also providing useful surrounding storage for clothing and travel essentials. The bedroom can be separated from the main living area, creating a quieter and more private space at night.
Beneath the bed, a large rear garage provides generous external storage for luggage, outdoor equipment and larger items needed for extended trips.
The central section of the motorhome includes the washroom and shower areas, arranged to create a practical bathroom space while maintaining privacy between the rear bedroom and front lounge.
The kitchen sits opposite the washroom and includes a gas hob, sink and refrigerator, allowing meals to be prepared comfortably while travelling. Storage throughout the kitchen area provides space for cooking equipment and everyday supplies.
At the front of the vehicle, the lounge and dining area is formed by the swivel cab seats and central table. This creates a bright and comfortable space for meals, relaxing during the evening, or planning the next stage of the journey.
The Zefiro 696 works particularly well for travellers who want the comfort of a dedicated bedroom combined with the space and storage of a larger motorhome. Pickup, Driver Eligibility & Collection Requirements
Pickup and return times
Pickup time is 14:00 and Return time is 10:30 on your scheduled return date.
Saturday Pickup is 14:00 only and the depot closes at 14:30.
Depots are closed on Sundays.
Please allow sufficient time for travel and arrival.
Driver eligibility
All drivers must:
- be aged 25–79
- hold a full driving licence (not provisional)
- have a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- hold a licence that is valid and in date
- hold Category B entitlement
- have no more than 6 penalty points
- have no driving disqualifications
- meet our insurance eligibility criteria
If documentation or driver eligibility cannot be verified at Pickup, the vehicle cannot be released and the booking may be cancelled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Hire.
Additional drivers
Additional drivers can be added for £7.50 per day.
All additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements, be present at Pickup, and provide the same documentation as the main driver.
Collection Documents
All drivers must be present at Pickup.
Each driver must provide:
- a valid physical photocard driving licence with a current address
- a DVLA check code, submitted in advance by email or provided at the depot
- two proofs of address from separate sources
The name and address on all documents must match the driving licence.
Proof of address
Two proofs of address must be provided from separate sources.
An annual council tax bill is accepted. All other proof of address documents must be dated within 90 days of the Pickup date.

Insurance documents are not accepted.
Digital and paper documents
Paper copies can be provided and will be scanned at the depot.
Digital documents are accepted provided they are full official statements issued by the organisation concerned. Where available, digital statements should be generated as certified statements and include any official verification or digital stamp confirming authenticity.
Screenshots of mobile banking summary pages, edited documents, cropped images or incomplete statements are not accepted.
Identification
A photograph of each driver will be captured at the depot for identification purposes.
A passport must be presented and will be captured for customers travelling outside the UK and customers residing outside the UK.
Non-UK residents
Non-UK residents must also provide:
- official photographic ID
- a UK contact address for the duration of their stay
Payment Requirements
A cleared and traceable payment method is required for:
- any outstanding booking balance
- any optional extras
- any additional charges
- the £1000 security bond
Payments must be made by card.
Cash is not accepted.
Where required by insurers, payment must be made by the primary driver unless otherwise agreed.
Before Return
Before returning the vehicle, please review the “Before Returning” notice displayed inside the vehicle.
This notice outlines the key return requirements, including cleaning, waste disposal and fuel levels. Please ensure these requirements are completed before returning to the depot to avoid additional charges.
